சைகை மொழிகள் சர்வதேச நாள் – “Hands Speak, Hearts Connect” சிறப்புரையாடல் சென்னை அண்ணா நூற்றாண்டு நூலகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.

இன்று (23-09-2025) சைகை மொழிகளுக்கான சர்வதேச நாளை முன்னிட்டு, சென்னை அண்ணா நூற்றாண்டு நூலகத்தின் பிரெய்லி பிரிவில் “Hands Speak, Hearts Connect” என்ற தலைப்பில் சிறப்புரையாடல் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த நிகழ்வில் திருமதி ஜெயந்தி நாராயணன் (முதல்வர், தி கிளார்க் சிறப்புப் பள்ளி, சென்னை) அவர்கள் சிறப்புரையாற்றினார். 30-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வாசகர்கள் மற்றும் பார்வை மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் பங்கேற்றனர். இந்திய சைகை மொழி மற்றும் அமெரிக்க சைகை மொழி குறித்து விரிவாக விளக்கி, வாசகர்கள் எழுப்பிய கேள்விகளுக்கு எளிதில் புரியும் வகையில் பதிலளித்தார். அனைவருக்கும் பயனளித்த அருமையான நிகழ்வாக அமைந்தது.

ஆசிரியர் தகுதித் தேர்வு (TET) – விண்ணப்பிக்க அவகாசம் நாளை வரை நீட்டிப்பு

ஆசிரியர் தகுதித் தேர்வுக்கான ஆன்லைன் விண்ணப்பப் பதிவு கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் 1-ஆம் தேதி தொடங்கியது.

விண்ணப்பிப்பதற்கான கடைசி தேதி செப்டம்பர் 9, 2025 அன்று முடிவடைந்தது.

தற்போது, தேர்வர்களின் கோரிக்கையை ஏற்று, விண்ணப்பிக்கும் கால அவகாசம் செப்டம்பர் 10, 2025 வரை நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதுவரை விண்ணப்பிக்காதவர்கள், நாளை (செப்டம்பர் 10, 2025) மாலை 5 மணி வரை விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.

விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முறை:

விண்ணப்பிக்க விரும்பும் ஆசிரியர்கள், தமிழ்நாடு ஆசிரியர் தேர்வு வாரியத்தின் (TRB) அதிகாரப்பூர்வ இணையதளமான www.trb.tn.gov.in என்ற முகவரிக்குச் சென்று ஆன்லைனில் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.

தேர்வுத் தேதிகள்:

தேர்வு வாரியம் ஏற்கனவே அறிவித்தபடி, டெட் முதல் தாள் தேர்வு நவம்பர் 15, 2025 அன்றும், இரண்டாம் தாள் தேர்வு நவம்பர் 16, 2025 அன்றும் நடைபெறும்.

தேர்வு முடிவுகள் மற்றும் பணி நியமனம்:

தேர்வு முடிவுகள் விரைவில் வெளியிடப்படும். அதைத் தொடர்ந்து, டிசம்பர் மாதத்திலேயே பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர் பணி நியமனத்திற்கான போட்டித் தேர்வை நடத்தவும் ஆசிரியர் தேர்வு வாரியம் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

விண்ணப்பிக்காதவர்கள், நாளை  (செப்டம்பர் 10, 2025) மாலை 5 மணிக்குள் www.trb.tn.gov.in என்ற இணையதளம் மூலம் விண்ணப்பிக்கலாம்.

Chennai Public School Students Explore Braille Section at Anna Centenary Library

On 30th August 2025, 16 students and 2 staff members from Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai, visited the Braille Section of Anna Centenary Library. During the visit, they learned about the various services and resources available for visually impaired readers. The students actively participated and gained valuable insights into accessible reading technologies and inclusive library services.

Empowering Visit: Mohamed Sathak College Students Explore Braille Section at Anna Centenary Library

Students from Mohamed Sathak College, Siruseri, visited the Braille section at Anna Centenary Library to learn about the special services provided for visually impaired users. The team explained various facilities such as assistive tools for competitive exams, preparation of audio study materials using the Kibo device, and hands-on training in writing Braille letters. The visit was an inspiring experience that highlighted inclusive learning opportunities.

Sound of Success: Inspiring Talk by Dr. N. Manoj at Braille Section @ Anna Centenary Library

On August 22, 2025, the Braille Section of Anna Centenary Library hosted an inspiring event titled “Sound of Success.” Dr. N. Manoj, who overcame visual challenges to excel in music and achieve a Ph.D., delivered a motivating special address. More than 30 readers participated and felt uplifted by his life journey—from early education to doctoral success. His story gave new confidence to everyone present. Anna Centenary Library extends its best wishes for Dr. N. Manoj’s continued achievements.

Research Scholar from Spain Visits Our Library’s Braille Section @ Anna Centenary Library

Miquel Hampe, a research scholar from Spain, visited our library and expressed great excitement about the services offered in our Braille section on 18th August 2025. He appreciated the resources and facilities designed to support visually impaired users and shared encouraging words about the meaningful impact of these services.
