Empowering Minds: Patrician College Students Explore Braille Section at Anna Centenary Library

On 12th August 2025, more than 40 students from the Department of Computer Science, Patrician College of Arts and Science, Kotturpuram, visited the Braille Section of Anna Centenary Library. During the visit, the library staff provided an overview of the specialized services available for visually impaired users, including the use of Kibo devices, Orbit Reader, current affairs news circulation, and assistance with job applications. 

The students also gained valuable exposure to the Braille system, learning about the formation of Braille letters and the methods of writing. The visit offered an insightful experience, fostering awareness of inclusive library services and accessibility resources.
