From Learning to Serving: A Meaningful Internship Journey in the Braille Section @ Anna Centenary Library

Mr. R. Tamilselvan and Ms. S. Kalaiyarasi, both 3rd-year B.A. Tamil students from Government Arts & Science College, Serkkadu, Vellore District, recently completed a 10-day internship at the renowned Anna Centenary Library. Their work focused on the Braille section, where they had the unique opportunity to assist visually impaired students by reading out study materials for TNPSC and TRB exams. Both interns shared that the experience was deeply rewarding and eye-opening, allowing them to contribute meaningfully while gaining new insights into the world of accessible education. They expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Anna Centenary Library and its dedicated staff for their support and guidance throughout this enriching journey.
